Hebei Pharmaceutical Logistics Center co-built by CSPC and Lerentang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., was laid a foundation in Zhengding International Logistics Site on Sep. 30th. In his speech, chairman Cai Dongcheng expressed his most sincere thanks to the high degree attention of provincial and municipal governments’ leaders, Zhengding county and the county government medicine, and great support of the surrounding villages, and enthusiastic help of friends from different field during building the pharmaceutical logistics center as a key project supported by the provincial and municipal governments .
Chairman Cai introduced that Hebei Pharmaceutical Logistics Center, CSPC Lerentang Medicine Logistics Center Project, would be constructed in two phases. The first phase project covers an area of 270 mu, total construction area of 30,000 square meters, of which 20,000 square meters are for modern warehouse distribution facilities, and 10000 square meters are for office buildings and other facilities. The Project will be expected to be completed in July next year and put into operation in October 2010, and be the provincial level (Shijiazhuang) logistics center. The other project will be constructed around 2011, focusing on the building of four sub-centers of Tangshan, Langfang, Handan, Zhangjiakou and the terminal logistics information system. Through a center and four sub-centers, the drug distribution can cover Henan, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning ,Shandong and other provinces.
Chairman Cai pointed out that the Pharmaceutical Logistics Center after completion could form an effective drug distribution networks and distribution system and make the fixed-point production, centralized purchasing, uniform distribution for the national essential drugs identified by the nation, which would be good to regulate the operation order and ensure the safety and quality of drugs. At the same time, it would promote the revitalization and development of the two leading industries, medicine logistics and modern logistics, for Hebei Province, especially for Shijiazhuang.
Chairman Cai said he would coordinate with the implementation of national essential medicines vigorously to delivery safer, more effective medical supplies for the masses quickly and timely. Meanwhile, with the support of the leaders of provincial and municipal governments and the assistance of Zhengding county, CSPC lerentang Pharmaceutical Logistics Center would be build into a large-scale, professional, informationization and automated modern medical logistics center insisting on the spirit of "high starting point, high standard, high quality" principle. In the near future, we believed that we would bring a satisfactory report to every leader.
